Forum Thread: Nexus 7 UI Is in Phone Mode?

I noticed the Nexus 7 does not have the same UI as the tablet I saw at the mall. Doesn't Android have a tablet UI? I could of swore my last tablet used it. Why is the Nexus 7 running like a giant phone minus the phone part?

I always wondered about this too. Anyway to get the real tablet UI on the Nexus 7?

There's a way to enable it with a patch. You flash it with CWM and tablet mode will be enabled. There are other manual ways but it's the easiest way.
